Tanya and Jim bought their first alpacas in 2012, becoming intrigued with these beautiful and intelligent animals from the very start.

Our stud was established in 2014 with the purchase of a number of carefully selected breeding stock.  

 

Our goal was to establish a foundation herd with diverse genetics, from some of Australia’s top breeders. Our herd now numbers over 100 coloured alpacas.  

 

After only a few years in the industry, Jimburra Alpacas is already making its mark winning ribbons at multiple regional shows.

Jimburra Alpacas is also the home of Boston Fine Fibres.
